Cloudy weather and the threat of rain has forced a one week postponement in the Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich’s annual golf tournament.
The tournament, which had been scheduled for today, will now take place June 22 at the Griffith E. Harris Golf Course. Registration for the tournament will begin at noon and golfers will be set to tee off at 1 p.m. The time and location next week will be the same as it would have been for today and the tournament was postponed due to concerns about the weather.
The tournament, which will utilize a shotgun tee off scramble format, is scheduled to end at around 5:30 p.m. and will be followed by appetizers, cocktails and a raffle. It will all be to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich and it’s the 12th year the tournament will be held.
